There may have been a backdoor exception given to NOLA that if they did get the lease in effect soon after the deadline passed, they could submit an application. I don’t remember if that was just speculation or reality.

Right, because there is no benefit to the businesses in the surrounding areas.
I saw tons of ole miss fans the day after the sugar bowl dining out in Metairie……but yea, let’s not try to attract thousands of visitors to our area and then we can sit around and bitch about how bad things are.
