Id just delete this paragraph and start over

There are multiple hospitals reporting low capacity in their ICUs (assuming this isn't fake news - but we are talking about Republican Texas). Without knowing how many people will be showing up critically ill in the next couple of weeks, it is sensible to enact restriction in an attempt to slow the influx of patients.

70% non Covid and 27% Covid patients in Houston. They have now shut down elective surgeries too. This news reported is bs.

Less than 400 ppl have died in Houston/Harris county for over 2.3 million ppl. The cases were always going to go up but the hospitalizations now are shorter and less deaths.

Also, another thing to keep in mind is the people that are getting tested for the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time...every time they get tested that another test....every time that same person test positive..thats another positive test.

This was a quote from a director of HLS in a parish in la

quote:

Out of 360 cases, HLS office has identified 78 as “multiple cases.” Particularly, he said nursing homes test residents and if positive, they are moved to a COVID wing of the facility. “To get out of the wing they want two negative tests … just so they can get out away from all the sick people,” he explained.
“So they do a second test, he’s still positive. That’s another case. We have 78 of those, and that’s ones we count.
“Two people were listed (in positive case results) 10 times,” he said. “Three with four positives, eight with three positives, 35 with four positives That was 68 cases two weeks ago.
“There’s no logic.”

If that’s the case, why is it that doctors in Houston are the ones howling the loudest? The ICU guys there would know better than anyone how critical things have gotten and they are begging to reinstate some restrictions.

I actually dont mind it.

There are some piece of shits out there. I live in Houston and this one guy (i wouldnt call him a friend) in a group of friends of mine has COVID and is off work but going out to bars like 5 nights a week.

Literally put one of the other people in that group (who is a friend) in the hospital.

Honor Choade has been licking his chops wanting to go back to Phase 1, now he can point to Abbott and say he did it and he’s a Republican.

That is happening in La too, 100%. 1 patient tested 10x and counted as 10 separate positives.
