Dont accident slam your gout foot in the door when getting into a vehicle. I saw it happen in person, was hilarious in retrospect cause it wasnt me, but looked incredibly painful

Take allopurinol religiously, I inherited mine and have only had one flare up. Way too much drinking one Fourth of July weekend. Luckily, someone I knew had medication for an acute attack. Hurt like hell!

Getting gout is usually from wearing old run down shoes. Buy a new pair. It will clear it up within a few hours.

It isn’t the steak. That’s what they want you to believe. It’s all sugar and complex carbs.

Anecdotal evidence of this; I went mostly carnivore for the past year, because I was fricking tired of getting gout attacks.

It has worked amazingly well.

You have GOT to get your ph level below 6 for a few days for your body to handle the uric acid

What are you even taking about
6 is super acidic and most people with a pH below ~7.2 are critically ill.

My neighbor has gout and she might weigh 80 pounds if you doused her with a hose. So gout has little to do with being fat.

This sucks to the point that I'm considering giving up my beloved steaks.

Steaks aren't the culprit. Look at purine content in foods. Red meat is nowhere near the top of the list.

Organ meats are high in purines, not muscle meats. Alcohol is loaded with them, and so are shellfish and some fish.

The truth is that 85% of purines are produced by your own body. Only about 15% come from diet. You can cut down your risk by avoiding some foods, but you are very much a prisoner to your genetics.

Try sticking to meat and veggies and stay away from sugar and anything that comes from a bag or a box and see if that helps you.

4 one gram vitamin C’s are optimal for anyone’s health.

Start off your morning with 2-3 then another with lunch.

AND one of these every morning.

I had gout pretty much chronically for 2+ years as it would move from joint to joint in my feet. The worst was behind the Achilles tendon though. Diet and quitting drinking had no effect whatsoever.

I was taking a bunch of Zantac and ate chitload of Tums for acid reflux... Dr put me on Omeprazole and I haven't had a single instance of gout or heartburn since (3+ years) and quit taking the allopurinol and colchicine.

Once the flare goes down, have your doc prescribe Allopurinol for daily use and Colchicine for those bad flare ups

I've been taking some allopurinol, indomethacin ad voltaren gel from the doctor. I am also toking on a high thc high cbd strain (legal here).

This is the first time I've had it. My brother and dad get it. I'm not fat. I retired from the military 3 years ago and could easily pass a tape test.
