It is WILD to see the responses in this thread now that Trump is president. If this were 3 months ago people would be singing an entirely different tune.
What? This problem was created a while ago.

As opposed to what? Aren't all eggs the same?

These are more expensive than the eggs in the OP, but they are more like a farm egg than anything else you’ll find at the grocery store, worth it imo.

If we stopped eating eggs for 1 week, they'd be giving them away. All about supply and demand

I don't get the big deal, honestly.
$8 bucks for 18 eggs is still a good deal. How many eggs do you need?
People with their own chickens act like chickens, feed, fencing, etc, are free.
My kids get paid $10 per day to go feed some chickens and bring home eggs they find if the owners are out of town. They'd be better off buying $8 eggs from Walmart than owning chickens...

I’m not one of anything.
It’s possible to not tie your identity to anything.
That’s the issue. Some of you have tied your identity to being a republican. That’s a fricking problem. Just like it’s an issue if someone ties their identity to anything that can be taken away, disproven, or no longer serve you. Goes for Christianity, liberalism, Marxism, libertarianism, any sort of ideology.
You aren’t anything other than transient. You’ll be forgotten dust in the cosmic blink of an eye. It’s beautiful. Let yourself be it.

Sad to be you. You stand for nothing.

I could guess that you’ve never seen an orange yolk in your life.
You would be wrong. I have 8 hens and a rooster, more eggs than we can eat. I meant store bought eggs.

Nobody stands for anything.
All of these concepts and ideologies you stand for are made up by humans. Faith, integrity, etc. It's not real. By all means, if it makes you feel better go right ahead. But don't get mad at me because you inevitably can't reconcile your hypocrisy.

I wonder if they're better than the eggs my chickens lay.

I bought some eggs from a lady at work and while the shells were beautiful, I was a little disappointed that the yolks were pretty yellow like store bought eggs. For me, nothing beats the Happy Organic eggs, those things are orange as hell and so good. With the price increases they are so expensive now, like almost $7 a dozen.

Those are the best eggs you can get from the store. I really want my own chickens, I’m gonna bond with those birds and feed them the highest quality protein and they are gonna reward me with some sexy yolks.

I bought 7 dozen farm raised eggs from somebody I know for $21.
I would stop buying grocery store eggs if you can find someone selling on their own.

The yolk color is dependent on the chickens diet. You can get more or less color (and taste) by altering what they are fed.

If anyone is thinking about getting Chickens. I’ll give you a breed.
