You need to record all of your interactions with the public. If I had been in your situation, I would have told them I didn’t hit shite, which would have escalated things and gotten NOPD maybe an hour earlier.

Welp, co-worker had one of these cameras rolling the ENTIRE time lol. But didn’t say anything about it.
2 months past and the other driver and his family was trying to sue him. When his insurance company called and told him about it, (we was eating lunch at Rasing Canes) he told him lol “you know I got video footage of me driving from my job, footage of the wreck, footage of the family showing up acting an arse and the cop giving him a wrong ticket. ALL TIMESTAMPED.
Well..that suit was dropped in about a week and he had to go give a statement to BRPD.
Pretty sure nothing happened to the cop. (Of course).
I always mentioned to him that you should counter and sue the other driver and all the family members just to prove a point.

That’s one of the busiest intersections in that area. A really nice neighborhood starts like 2 blocks from there. I’ve just never really felt unsafe there especially during day

Neither have I and I go through there a lot. until today where I was surrounded and harassed by a big group of people I don’t know

Fair enough. But there is a nice neighborhood a few blocks away from a lot of shithole areas in New Orleans (one of the unique things about New Orleans). People always seem to comment on that when they visit. I've just had a few experiences in that general area...maybe just great timing.
