What a letdown.

I was hoping it was a racial slur so this thread would blow up as the GOAT.

that is where you need to dig

Incorrect. What you need to do is install a grounding rod at this location.

t's just a verification that the gas company came out to the property in response to a utility locate request. If they had any lines on the property, they would've marked them.

I should post some pics from my place where the state placed little orange flags and even a warning sign on the edge of the yard.

Only problem is, there's no line there.

The pipeline turned 90 degrees and under the highway to the other side where they drilled and added some storage tanks instead of interrupting my clinical studies at the time rather than cut across my driveway/front yard. They delayed drilling on my side too for a decade now although plans have been filed and public hearing held 2x in the last 6 months.

Pictures would prove the lack of pipeline as the crepe myrtles my grandma planted 70 years ago are undisturbed (flag right in the dirt at their base) and some pine trees over 2 feet in diameter are right along that sightline to the visible cutoff valve for the pipeline.

Yellow is used to mark natural gas... So...That is probably marking a natural gas line.

Could be both.

If you're Ben Quick, you'll take Jody's money, his job, and hopefully his fine wife.

Then sell some horses.

Watch out for those Varners.
