I'm looking to drop off some clothes but the Goodwill store near me (Old Hammond Highway/West End) is closed. Does anyone know where I can make a drop off to help people in need at this time?

FWIW the Salvation army is a much better organization for society. I believe Goodwill might even be a for profit company.

frick Goodwill. Give it to the Salvos. If they’re closed they usually have a drop off box outside.

FWIW fundamentalist groups are not good for society. Support them if you want to help fund a group that wants to outlaw alcohol and gambling.

Yes, that is the tax exempt status they are privileged to have. Most of that would be profits go to executive compensation. Do I really care? No. It’s still the most convenient place to take my junk and they are providing plenty of jobs.

Some people need help in life sometimes man. If you don't believe that then you and I are just fundamentally different people, which I suspect may be the case.

ETA I have no idea what you're talking about with regard to alcohol and gambling.
