Got my renewal in the mail today. It normally goes up 5% or so each year since getting it. 20% increase this time. Joe Biden can’t do anything right.

Cry me a river. Mine went up 110%. I canceled and found coverage that was only $1000 higher per year. Of course, the new company is probably a piece of shite. I had no choice.

We had a claim in 2021 unrelated to the storm but ours just about doubled too.

Can't stand Brandon but probably has more to do with you living in a hurricane wasteland. You couldn't pay me to live in SELA

I got a feeling some of you don't understand insurance and how they calculate risk.

Mine went up 40%. Kept trying to get different quotes from my agent and nothing came close. Called another agent and got a much cheaper policy(basically the same) with the company I already had with previous agent.

Auce05,

Nah it’s easier to believe that multimillion dollar insurance agencies are draping themselves in D v R bullshite than doing actual math

My flood went up another $8,000 per year on my vacation home.

Thats severely cutting into my profits from last year's claims.
