That was a very poor attempt at a gotcha when it fails the very example being discussed. The manager is a Puerto Rican so born a US citizen and could have never spoken a word of English in his life and continued to live in the US permanently. Just like many Cajuns (mainly in the past) were born here and never spoke English.

It sounds like this woman was upset that the manager was speaking to an employee in Spanish? Hard to hear in the video but it sounds like he says the employee doesn't speak English. I mean, what's this guy supposed to do? Not give the employee direction? We don't even know if it was his hiring decision.
It doesn't sound like this had any real bearing on the women's customer experience; they just felt like giving their two cents. Fine. But when you say things like "Go back to Mexico" or "speak your Mexican at home," well, the manager will give you his two cents too.

The little old ladies were pretty ignorant and wrong on all counts. But I was at UPS today and an Asian was on speaker phone basically talking as loud as a person can talk into his iPhone. God damn it was annoying after a while.
