i always used the string on my woobie to tie it up after i rolled it up and put it in my middle pouch on the old alice packs

It's difficult to find the good stuff in the export market. I recommend trying several if you are ever down there.

Ah.. Makes sense. I roll mine and then have it in a stuff sack so didn't have to tie it.
