Check your facts on this one. The Manchurian Pneumonic Plague killed about 60,000 people. What was fascinating about it was China sought help from other nations quickly and quelled the disease within 4 months (unlike 2019). Just like SARS and MERS, this was likely a corona virus. We know the “Flu” pandemic of 1890 was a corona virus. MERS had a death rate of 40%. This one much higher.
