Morning everyone.
Glad it is good weather today. Weather can make a funeral even tougher to bear.
Finally got my checking and savings accounts moved from NWLA to NELA. Went with credit union locally as I refuse to accept the terms of the National/international big banks. (Got a Chase issued credit card and immediately got new spam from them selling my info. Nada from enrolling at the credit union.)
Just need to install a new digital door lock and spend some time at the courthouse getting an “original” copy of my birth certificate so that my drivers license can be corrected (someone fat fingered my birthdate on a renewal years ago) and everything will be done that needs taken care of.
Waiting for a nice day without a lot of wind to install the lock, don’t want a bunch of pollen blowing in (mom’s got problems with pollen). The last lock I installed was on the front door of the house on the TX state line that looters and vandalism destroyed. They attempted to kick in the door, bent it in fact (steel door), but the lock held and the door is still closed and locked with 1 broken hinge.

2nd - This weather rocks! Going to be a nice weekend so go do something. Get it of the house and unplug. See a concert, a ball game or take a hike at Tunica or the Zoo.
Just figure it out and go do it!
