Yeah I can't imagine what something like that must be like. Just to watch someone you love go through it.

Yep, the only good thing about it is there's little or no pain involved.

Bad way to live though, if you call it living.

Sad to hear. i always liked Glen Campbell and even remember him starring in True Grit with the "Duke". I am old enough to remember his variety show when it was on TV too. Great musician as well as a great artist.

I knew it was coming eventually. Such a great musician. The lyrics to Galveston. It's a song about a soldier in the Nam:

Galveston, oh Galveston, I still hear your sea winds blowin'
I still see her dark eyes glowin'
She was 21 when I left Galveston

Galveston, oh Galveston, I still hear your sea waves crashing
While I watch the cannons flashing
I clean my gun and dream of Galveston

I still see her standing by the water
Standing there lookin' out to sea
And is she waiting there for me?
On the beach where we used to run

Galveston, oh Galveston, I am so afraid of dying
Before I dry the tears she's crying
Before I watch your sea birds flying in the sun
At Galveston, at Galveston

Sad.

I'll give him 6 - 24 months to live, depending on how he eats.

Trivia Tidbit: for a few months in 1965, Glen Campbell was a member of The Beach Boys
