I've heard they can easily splinter so that's why I don't

OP, you taking a chance for a splinter piece of bone to cut the intestines of the dog. For years, I always gave my pups leftovers, then my daughter became a DVM and show me what a bone can do. Was not nice what I saw.
Oh, pork and chicken are even worse doing that.
Guess it is up to you, then again it is no better of a idea letting one's dog ride in the back of a open bed truck not leached up center.

Every time I do my dog either gets the shits, throws up, or both. Poor Fido doesn't get bones anymore.

Better than chicken and don't give em pork ribs. They are hollow like chicken bones, could cause trouble. Mine love em some tbones.

It’s honestly not worth it

A friend had a boxer/lab mix and he gave that dog steak bones all the time. That dog would destroy that whole bone in a matter of minutes. There would be nothing left but done tongue marks on the floor.
I asked if that was a good idea and wasn't he worried about splinters. Nope. She chews them up good and has never had a problem. End of story.

My Boxer managed to get a rack of spare ribs about a month ago and ate bones and all. Took her to get x-ray a couple of times but she turned out ok. I wouldn't recommend it voluntarily.

Raw bones don't hurt dogs, cooked beef and pork bones don't either. I've seen dogs eat rabbits, chickens, and squirrels bones and all. Parents give their dog frozen chicken wings and legs as treats, never a problem.

Raw bones? Yes, mine is eating a raw now. Cooked? eh, the splinter issue it bad, especially with chicken bones.

I'd chew on those meat curtains the op posted.

My little squirrel dogs gets them all except chicken bones. Pork & Beef I'll give her a few... it will plug them up if your not careful. Then you will find yourself in the bathtub at 2am with grocerie bags covering your fingers washing off the mess that you made and a dog that will never look at you the same.

Have always given all our dogs (over the years) bones of all kinds. Never a problem. Feed them raw meat too - when I'm cleaning a wild hog, for example. They love it.

I laughed too hard at this

Nay. Terrible idea. Could splinter and cause your pup to choke and die.
