Most blacks are doing pretty well relatively speaking.

There is no black community, just like there is no white community.

If you want to change black community to ghetto culture then I would agree.

Agreed.

That was my point. The black community allows this stupid shite to go on and perpetuates it.

If that bitch in the video was killed tomorrow in an accident, I wouldn't shed a tear. The chances of her being a productive member of society and slim and non

Because of all of the video that is being shot by everyone, more and more normal people of all races are seeing how the garbage of this country live and act towards each other and all. They have never been around people that handle problems that arise in day to day living as you and I would. The abuse they see and deal with from the first day of life is part of their learning and can not be denied. Your own personal upbringing is a monumental part of who you are and how each of us handle day to day situations. We will see some lucky and strong people crawl out of this horrible way of just getting by,and I hope more can. A lot of people would call me Racist, but I'am not. What I am is afraid of what I might have to do to them if they were to attack me or my family. I would not want to hurt someone, but would if needed. That is why I stay away from them.

I want to open a little dialogue here for a minute if i can.I am born and Raised in Baton Rouge all of my life i've lived here. For the longest time from my own experiences and what i have seen and dealt with my whole life here i cannot stand the blacks in the BR area. I have met very few that i can get along with period.

Now i spent a week in Katy Tx last week with my children and we went to all sorts of places that me and my children interacted with many minorities ,Black,Mexican,Asian. Not one time did i or my children have any issue with anyone. It was actually pleasant and refreshing.

Maybe i need to get away from this shithole more because if all i had to judge black people by was the majority shitty ones that encompass this town then my mindset will never change.

There.
Open dialogue.

Once again, there is no black community. There is not singular way of thinking for all blacks.

There are no black leaders.

You are talking about a ghetto/ignorant class way of thinking which knows no race.

The majority of blacks (just like most people period) do not condone this type of behavior.

Of course you can find those who will applaud it, like you would across the board for those who have an ignorant way of thinking.

Well this just isn't true. You may not like to acknowledge them, or you might not be happy that a "face" has been put on the leadership of the black members of American society, or you might not appreciate being "lumped in" with them or who they represent, but there are certainly black individuals, who on the whole, are seen as the "leaders" of the black population in this country.

why when something, anything happens to a single black person by someone of a different race is there all of a sudden a "Community"? that marches and protests, and bands together.

I mean really? Who cannot see that?

the "community" stuff is a touchy issue, especially in light of "cultural misappropriation"

give me a name for this group and this culture. i've been fighting for one for years on this board (literally)

i don't care if we call it kangaroo culture or something else so silly. i just want an accepted term

then, voila, we won't have a need for code or generalizations. we will all know the exact type of person being discussed. no more allegations of racism based on nothing. no more code words that can be misinterpreted by people criticizing the culture/behaviors.

so what's the term?

Okay, i'll engage you.

I have no problem with anything you just said. Actually, I use to dislike you as a poster, but I have grown to enjoy your post.

Our environment shapes us, and if you have only experienced ghetto black trash, then it would be very easy to view the majority that way, but you have to realize that sect is really the minority.

I think you experience in Katy,is the reality of the majority of blacks or minorities in general in this country. Now, to say all of the black population in Baton Rouge is ghetto and trashy would be foolish, but no doubt there is a high number in different areas throughout the city.

Except when it comes to voting. Also, I'm sure Al and Jesse disagree about there being no black leaders
