No they wouldn't, it has nothing to do with politics. 90% of teachers are going to call security rather than try and break up a fight, because of fear of lawsuits. Most districts tell teachers not to lay hands on students because of that, and a vast majority won't back up the teacher if they do.

Now the principal being right there and not breaking it up is straight up clown shoes idiocy. And even worse is if there was a fight on the bus and nothing was done about it, as that would or should be literally considered part of/an extension of the school and resulted in a suspension before a second fight. Unless the bus driver didn't report it (which would explain them being suspended).

This story should piss everyone off, but it's not the teachers fault the fights aren't broken up, there are literally tons of teachers that have been fired and/or lost lawsuits for trying to break things up. And even worse, gotten their butts kicked trying to do so. And any teacher would tell you girl fights are the ones they're like to break up the least.
