Yeah awesome idea. He's in Nashville there's plenty around there to see.
Thanks, if you have time later I'd like to pitch you on a cheese wiz idea I've been thinking up for years...

Sign him up to TD for his downtime. Enough entertainment and BS here for a full time job

Save your money and get some English instruction. Society will benefit much more from this.

Just spend a lot of time with him. Friendship is better than any video game you could give him. Sad to say but a lot of people don't get another chance at life because of all these dumbasses driving around drunk.

Hey man, when you're able, I'll pick up a couple tickets for you and your brother to go see "whatever local sports team" etc. Get well soon.
This is a winner.
When I've been laid up after surgery in the past, I've always passed the time with lots of netflix and books.

Having spent a some months after an accident confined to a bed and later a wheelchair, my personal observation is that you can only watch so much TV. Video games can help pass time, but they can also become mindless monotony. It would need to be something engrossing.
If he's into books, those can be a great diversion.
I'd honestly suggest something that requires focus. Building models, or some other kind of craft that requires your hands and attention to detail.

Sounds like you should just give him your legs

Damn. You know it was a bad injury when you see this on a chart.
Hope your friend is on his way to a speedy recovery.
As for a gift, maybe a Netflix subscription if he's gonna be laid up for a while.

I was gonna be a dick and say a mask, but everyone in here was already too mean.
Video games are awesome for hospital stays.
