The little brother of good friend of mine was ran over by a drunk driver.
I'm pretty close to the family but I havent seen them a quite sometime. It happened out of state and I can't make a trip to see them.
Any good gift ideas, books, movies or whatever?
He is 24

For family members, gift cards to nearby restaurants (especially ones close to the hospital if he'll be there for a while).

He's been released from the hospital. He has home care now but is limited to a wheelchair. I'm trying to think of something to cheer him up and help him past the time.

There's probably not a lot that you can give him that he doesn't already have access to etc. to pass the time and boredom.
Giving him something to look forward to or work forward to during his recovery would be pretty cool tho IMO.
Hey man, when you're able, I'll pick up a couple tickets for you and your brother to go see "whatever local sports team" etc. Get well soon.

Yeah awesome idea. He's in Nashville there's plenty around there to see.
