Honestly if your girlfriend or even your wife's phones dings from a text message in the middle of the night. You sure better ask who it is, let that shite be know that you wondering. If she trips or doesn't tell you she is hiding something. Always stay on your toes about things like that.

Dudes are so dumb. She said it was a friend of her sister’s husband - so many possibilities here. Like you’ve never met and hung out with friends of your sibling’s spouse? Wedding festivities? I’ve had the same phone number for 15 years and the contacts get added too, but never deleted. I could get a hey stranger text from someone in my contacts and not even remember who tf they are.

Cleared it up this morning. Her explanation made a lot of sense and I’m good with it.
We’ve been together a year and I trust her more than anyone I’ve been with and that includes a 10 year marriage. I’m a big part of her and her kid’s life and she’s the one girl I’ve had in my life that I have love as well as a great friendship with.
Knowing the OT may say otherwise, but case closed on my end. On with the weekend.

Met him at her sister’s wedding a couple years back and he got her number from her brother in law. Like her, he has a special needs child and they became friends based on that. He has texted on occasion over the years and she has been friendly. She did admit that some of his texts had been at odd times but never inappropriate. As a guy I know what is on your mind firing off texts at 1 am....I get it.
