depends on the stroke of the alumni associated with the frat. More stroke, the quicker you get back on.

the university's goal is to get rid of elitist organizations like frats. They will regulate them to the point they are no fun and cease to exist- on campus.

ETA. if the alumni chapter or home office don't support the local chapter, they may never get back on.

Not sure if it’s still true
But it was until every member left school for us, and then they would recolonize

I don't why they haven't split from association with the university so they can do whatever they want.

Likely never. LSU will win the war on frats they are waging

Depends on each fraternity's national organization. If you get kicked off of campus you lose your charter (usually the charter gets pulled as soon as there's a serious allegation, to try to avoid a lawsuit).

Some fraternities might allow you to come back, some will insist on recolonizing (all previous members still in school are "alumni" and are usually told to stay away).

If they are formally kicked off campus today, it will be until September 7th, 2021 before they can be reinstated. (350 Days).

The easiest thing for Frats would be to follow the rules and stop hazing. It's very simple.

Has there been an announcement that anyone has actually been kicked off campus?

The definition of hazing has become incredibly broad.

Physical assault doesn't seem that complicated. You know, like in kindergarten, Hands to Yourself.

consequences depend on a lot of things. Is their house on campus or off? do they own their house or does the national chapter own the house? Do they have the cash and connections to acquire their own liability insurance?

In the case of SAE at Texas, their house was off campus and their chapter owned the house, not national. So they changed their name to Texas Rho and have not missed a beat. Except now they have no university or national oversight. I suspect they would never go back to SAE or being recognized by UT.

Greek Life is the biggest source of legal liability for a university costing literal millions in insurance and lawsuits

Unless the state steps in and legally indemnifies LSu from the actions of Greek Houses, their days on campus are numbered...
