Get ready Houston baws water bills are going up 15%.

Yeah I don’t understand it either. Both cities are great. I will say I find the people of Houston to be friendlier. Houston people remind me of Louisiana people and Dallas people remind me of New York people.

Baton Rouge just did the same this month.
Between water/sewer my bill for March went up 30% no noticeable usage increase in the last 6 months.
Legal extortion.

BR is smaller than that. They claim the metro is 800k but some of the places they include in that number are rather ridiculous. It's really more like 500k or so.

seriously. i thought that was a joke when announced. Houston will turn into the 3rd world countries that Jackson, Chicago, New Orleans, or Memphis have turned into quick, fast, and in a hurry if Sheila Jackson Lee takes over.
