He not trolling. And it's not a fricked up procedure. It's called Vascectomy Pain Syndrome. A lot of men experience it. Fairly common.

I got mine 8 years ago. About 6 mos after, it started hurting when I ejaculated. It got worse, until it was eye watering bad.

It slowly went away over the past 3-4 years. To the point where I barely notice it now. But it's real.

Feels like torsion, but it's not. Just an inflammation that comes and goes. I have had it every month except one month since my procedure.

I got a hematoma w drainage. It went away after 6 weeks or so. No problems and certainly no regrets since.

You are not crazy, just in an unlucky minority.

Consider giving it more time (if it is a plumbing problem) with supportive care with medications /local blocks
Can also consider looking at your lumbar spine, hips/pelvis (looking for other sources referring to site (less likely based on your story))

Post-vasectomy pain A unique subset of chronic scrotal content pain is in patients with post-vasectomy pain syndrome. It is estimated that chronic pain is present in 1% to 15% of men following vasectomy (Ned Tijdschr Geneeskd 2005; 149:2728-31), with severe scrotal content pain being reported in 1% to 6% (BJU Int 2007; 100:1330-3). While the true etiology of post-vasectomy pain syndrome remains unknown, it is thought to result from the functional obstruction of the vas deferens, spermatic granuloma formation, and/or chronic idiopathic epididymitis. Vasectomy reversal is a surgical option for post-vasectomy pain syndrome. Most of the published literature is from small, single-center studies, with success rates ranging from 75% to 100% improvement in pain and 50% to 69% being pain free (J Urol 2012; 187:613-7; J Urol 1997; 157:518-20; J Urol 2000; 164:1939-42; Fertil Steril 1979; 32:546-50). Other surgical treatments for post-vasectomy pain syndrome include orchiectomy (radical orchiectomy would be required), open-ended vasectomy, epididymectomy, and microsurgical denervation of the spermatic cord (J Urol 2008; 180:949-53).

many posters here have described the same pain. It's one reason I haven't been more seriously interested in getting a vasectomy.

Your Dr sucked then. Mine was awesome. He made one incision, and I didn't even ice.

estimates that 20 percent of the single ladies he encounters are looking to trap a rich guy with a baby.

If he really wants to see their dirty side he should keep his vasectomy a secret. Even encourage the ones who are blatant gold diggers.

"I could see myself starting a family with someone like you." She'll be crazy in the sack for awhile.

Then when the truth comes out about her gold digging just hand her the paperwork from the procedure, smile, and say "Look at the date."

How much do Vasectomies cost?

Does typical insurance cover it?

Mine was $30, all I paid was my Co-pay and the Dr, a GP, did it on a Friday in his office.

I take Aleve when I feel it coming on (pain - feels like one is being shoved back into my stomach) and ice them. It's the side that ended up getting 5 shots. Another surgery could fix it, but as you can tell, I'm reluctant to do anything again that involves shots in my testicles.

I had the same problem. I think mine is finally gone. My doc would write me a cipro script and that would clear it right up. Its caused by the sperm not being able to leave normally. Its bad, feels like someone is firmly squeezing your balls.
