The latest Hamptons summer accessory? A vasectomy. When Scott, a male model who says he’s in his 30s, kicks off the Hamptons high season this weekend at his Sag Harbor waterfront house, the unattached hunk won’t have any reservations about hooking up with women he hardly knows. “I had a vasectomy a few months ago. Having a house in the Hamptons and being fairly well-off, I’ve encountered some problems — women try to get pregnant,” said Scott, a regular on the society scene who earns a cool half-million a year. He recalled sex partners who have lied to him about being on birth control. “It’s a trick. [They say] ‘I love you, [we] don’t need a condom.’?” Scott — who describes himself as “Tarzan with light eyes” — typically beds up to 10 different women per summer and estimates that 20 percent of the single ladies he encounters are looking to trap a rich guy with a baby.

So these Hampton baws apparently just thought of getting snipped to avoid the baby trap. I thought of this year's ago but didn't get snipped but I did get my nut frozen just in case something crazy happens. I also learned that my sperm count isn't great but is that really a bad thing? I'm still on the fence about this, my ex told me she would break up with me,(she wasn't going to because ain't like she gonna upgrade lol), but she had babies on the brain bad.

But has any OT gents got the ol' sniparoo to avoid the trap? I'll hang up and listen...

I know a dude that got a vasectomy, and now he's gay.

I had mine and I regret it.

Not because it makes me shoot blanks but because of the ongoing pain I have continued to have.

Feels like torsion, but it's not. Just an inflammation that comes and goes. I have had it every month except one month since my procedure.

I also ended up getting six shots in my testicles because I couldn't get numb and felt 90 % of the procedure.

How much do Vasectomies cost?

Does typical insurance cover it?

That's quite the description, Scott.

Insurance covered mine. I ended up having to meet my deductible, but the majority of it was covered.

Dr. Plants did a good job for the most part.

It's quite possible as I have been extremely irritable and irritating of late.

I'm actually interested myself and called a urology clinic here Greensboro, NC last week. $1260 total, insurance covers it if you have met your deductible of course. Specialist copay.

I think it has been about 8 or 9 months ago.

I take Aleve when I feel it coming on (pain - feels like one is being shoved back into my stomach) and ice them.

It's the side that ended up getting 5 shots. Another surgery could fix it, but as you can tell, I'm reluctant to do anything again that involves shots in my testicles.

If you aren't trolling you got a fricked up procedure. Schedule a visit with a different doctor.

No trolling. I am describing exactly what I experienced and continue to experience.

My balls are much more sensitive and my loads are smaller. But otherwise business as usual since snip in 09. I may try reversal for the gf when my older two are 18. I like kids.

My biggest complaint is the nurse assisting the Dr was really hot and made me self conscious.

I too experience mild discomfort after having in 2014. Insurance paid 100% and I don't regret it.

Hope he didn't go to the same Doctor that did the football player with 14 kids. That guy had 2-3 kids after his procedure
