Antibodies are only one part of immune system. You have memory lymphocytes that also are primed for certain pathogens
Are you just trying to agree with me while adding detail? You're not contradicting my point.
The issue isn't that we don't have any pre-existing immunity.
And the issue isn't that it's a particularly nasty virus, as evidenced by all the mild cases.
It can't be that it can be fatal due to secondary infections in a small % of cases and mostly against compromised individuals, because that is true of most viruses.
So the million dollar question is what IS the issue with this virus that is causing the world to freak out?

For some reason I can picture you frantically and obsessively using a tape measure on every desk.

I guess their masks work.
California started wearing masks indoors and outdoors 7 weeks ago. Their cases are spiking now.
You'll have to find another explanation.

Didn't think about that.
You had life-sized graph paper and it still took you half a day?
No wonder your wife flunked you.

German studies have been way ahead of the narrative here. It's like they do a study then months later people start talking about the same thing here in the states.

Their daily new cases have been flat for almost 2 months.
I guess their masks work.
Or they are not testing everybody that is still breathing
Or it's some combination of the two, but apparently no one can budge an inch on these viewpoints.

the same people that will scream at evangelicals/fundamentalist Christians about how dumb they are over their stance on evolution...
...refuse to acknowledge humanity's evolved responses to illnesses.
wear the mask and stfu is just as much of an ignorant statement as "we ain't come from no monkeys"
Sorry, I'm sleep deprived. Gotcha.
I just always balk when people use the term "evangelical," because it has been hijacked as a pejorative term. They did that to Fundamentalists many decades ago.
NT Wright is an evangelical.
John Gresham Machen was a fundamentalist.
Few would use those terms to describe those scholars now, and that was mostly intentional by liberal scholars imo. Although the advent of the televangelist is partly to blame.
Anyway, I digress from my digression. I get your point and agree.

You’re worried about covid? A woman at the BESE board meeting today ranted about systemic racism and how we can’t go back to school
Until that is corrected.
Until that is corrected.

The decision was highly controversial at the time. Parents won the right to keep their children at home after a legal challenge, and the regional government ordered the study to determine whether the policy had been right.
Anyone else read this paragraph?

Yeah but a US study found that teachers must make twice as much as the median income of their district to work 2/3rds of the year and avoid work if at all possible at any time
