Ok, I'll play. My Acadian ancestors had their homes and farms seized by the British. Families were broken up, many never to be reunited. The entire population deported. How much do you think Nova Scotia is worth? Where my check?

I support reparations 100%. The government should give land to slave descendents in states with less than 10% AA population. Also pay for moving expenses. Distribute the demographics. If taken, the debt from slavery is fully paid for.

I have 0 problems with this given the university was bank rolled by slavery and that's how it stayed open. Institutions shouldn't get a pass for something they supported no matter how long it took to come to the light. Stop trying to excuse these atrocious acts

And when whatever "representative"of the AA community signs the paperwork saying there will be no more calls for reperations the AA community will cheer.
And 2 or 3 generations later the same AA community will say these reparations were not enough and that this "representative" had no right to say as it was.
It will never end. Not until we section off 13% of the total landmass of the US, give it to them, with enough money to operate for 1 generation. Only then, after they run their own country for 40 years or so, and inevitably run the mfer straight in the ground, MAYBE that will be enough.

Actually, reparations have already occurred and proved to be a miserable failure. It was called LBJ's Great Society Welfare programs.
If they want a helping hand perhaps they should look down to the end of their ducking arm.
