911 dispatcher barely said “we don’t need you to do that.” He wasn’t stern at all.
While ultimately responsible for the death of Trayvon, it wasn’t murder. He shouldn’t have followed, but that doesn’t give Trayvon the right to attack him and smash his head repeatedly into the concrete.
Anyone who halfway followed the case knows these things.

Lack of evidence, overcharging, that ghetto chick who testified she talked to Trayvon that night was abysmal on the stand, zim had a world class defense team, etc.
I watched the trial from start to finish. It was a disaster for the state.

Trayvon was gonna be six feet under sooner or later but he had to have a run in with a legit headcase.

Correct. The actual quote was "You don't have to do that" in response to Zimmerman saying he was going to get out of the car and follow Trayvon.
The media twisted that shite just like they did everything in the case. Who remembers one of the major networks getting caught editing the audio of the 911 call to make it seem racist?** And people bought it all and are still repeating it just like the above poster. Not saying Z Man was in the right but he got far from a fair shake on the deal.
**If you remember, one of the networks edited out the 911 Operator asking "what color is the guy?" So it sounded like Zimmerman blurted out "He's black" without being prompted. Reporters should have been fired over that outright deception.

That was my thread. It got really good when the trial was on. I had the trial on the big screen at my office and was updating the OP. The OT lost its mind when that one chick testified. I think she was Trayvon's girlfriend or something?

Forget all the race bullshite, this guy saw someone walking in the gated apartments he lived in, that he thought looked suspect.
A black person walking around with a hoodie on will always draw suspicion, that's just the reality of the situation, but it was raining at the time so you have to consider.. There might be a good chance he has a hoodie on because it is raining.
He follows him, calls the cops. Cops tell him to stay in the car, he gets out.. There was audio which sounded as if they ended up getting into a physical altercation, Zimmerman was probably getting his arse whipped, so he pulls out a gun, shoots Martin and he gets off on self-defense.
What is sad about that is that he was fighting a what? 16, 17 year old and he needed a gun to protect himself. Martin was going back home and all of a sudden he sees Zimmerman (who he didn't know) following him. He was probably wondering why Zimmerman was following him. So I honestly think Martin was killed because Zimmerman was trying to be super-cop.
It wasn't like Martin was doing anything that Zimmerman needed to get out of his car for. Wait for the cops and let them do their job. I would argue that if we are "doing God's work" here, Zimmerman would be the one dead. After all, he had a record of beating his girlfriend has been involved in other situations, etc.
