Nothing.

George Strait had a bigger crowd than Garth.

I think George Straight wrote some good country music songs in the 1980s.

Howeevr, I will never ever understand how anyone would want to see him live. There's zero energy in his performances and there's basically zero energy in his songs.

All hail the King.

I have seen Strait twice. Once about 15 years ago and then last year in Tampa. Now take that I am way more of a rock guy and not a big country fan but I dont for the life of me understand the love that Strait gets live. I like his music and I am old enough where I heard a lot of it when it came out. He has tons of songs.

But as far as a entertainer, he just didnt move the needle for me. He won so many Entertainer of the Year awards, I was just shocked. He basically stood there and played and sang. Great music but little entertaining. Last year, he basically stood in one little spot for the entire show. I thought maybe he was on a chair or something.

Im not putting the dude down at all but I do not ge the love for his live shows. Id take Kenny Chesney, Stapleton , Zac Brown over him live any day.

Love the song "Seashore of old mexico" and have yet to hear him sing it live. Im kinda salty over that too.

El Gaucho is a Louisiana treasure and I don’t care if my state rep thought otherwise when I brought up the idea of a resolution.

Garth’s concerts are more like parties.

Strait’s concerts are more like performances, probably a little classier attendees, witnessing history.

I’ve been to both and liked both.

I’ve seen Garth several times, never heard him gripe about politics. I know he’s pretty liberal, but never seen in his shows.

He didn’t at LSU. I would have booed loudly, and I was in the fourth row 20 feet from the stage.
