I don't know about best, but it's up there with my favorites.

Amarillo by Morning is his best IMO. I got a Car is towards the top as well. I love that he released a song about a car when songs about trucks were up there as well.

Don't know, I'll have to look into that.

My first truck had a tape player and the only tape I had for 2 years was one of George straits early albums.

If I'm picking one George song I'm going with "I Can Still Make Cheyenne."

The Chair is one of the most pimp songs of all time. It’s my favorite GS song.

But I stumbled across The Best Day a few years ago and now it is up there as well, and may even be my new favorite. It just hits so hard and perfectly with me having a five year old boy who’s always telling me this is the best day of his life because we did something fun together. Makes me tear up almost every time I listen to that song. It’s great.

No. Its still active.

Got a new phone after my old phone's screen literally went to black. So along with most of my contacts and pictures, my login info for SBD was also lost so I just applied for a new account.

He's one of the very few artists who can just get up at a concert and sing at the mic for hours and it be a fantastic show.

Saw him back in 99 for the George Strait Tour. Just flat out magical. Still one of my favorite concerts I've attended.

I'm partial to I Cross My Heart and I Can Still Make Cheyenne.

Like lots of women I had a huge crush on George back in the day. I've seen him play in lots of places big and small. Best was at the Las Vegas Hilton during NFR early 90s when his "Livin It Up" album was big. My ex was a team roper, and we went to one of George's roping events. It was cool to see that side of King George.

Yep, and it’s not even close.

And Old Waylon was correct if he said what is on your picture.

Happy Belated Birthday to THE KING!
My favorites are the The Fireman, Ocean Front Property, and Love Without End, Amen!
I could listen to George on repeat.

One of the greatest of all time. And the thing is- I don't ever remember anyone finding dirt on him. The guy just seems genuine as can be. Veteran. Rancher. Good family man- and clearly a guy who very likely had a lot of offers to "not be", out on the road over the years......
