I grilled steaks on a George Foreman grill in my hotel bathroom on a work trip last year. Used to watch his fights with my dad when I was a kid. Always loved Big George. RIP.

A boss I had lived near the north Houston suburb where George lived. He said he pulled in to the same gas station one day. Said he was a GIANT of a man and was the most gracious person he had ever met. My boss said he tried to get a free grill but told him if he gave away the grills he wouldn’t be able to drive the Hummer he was driving !!!
RIP BIG GUY - you deserve your eternal rest.

He lived right around the block from me in the back of Kingwood, TX in Fosters Mill subdivision in the early 2000’s. I think he split time between Kingwood and Marshal and then he moved across the lake to Huffman but pretty sure still owns or owned the house in Kingwood. I would see him walking from time to time and you would see him shopping at the grocery store and he was real close to the guy that owns our local camera store. I grew up boxing and have a cousin that is a trainer and promoter so we had something in common and then when I got into martial arts at a MMA school in Atascocita one of my training partners started boxing at George’s gym and he would eventually lead my buddy to Jesus. Great man and boxer X 2 since he practically recreated himself in the sport. A true legend sent from God. You will be missed Big George. RIP!
