Cept several tests have proven it is actually worse at this than a $65 Coleman Extreme

Yeah the one posted with the coolers sitting in an air conditioned building? I don't have a/c on my boat

Plus I don't feel like replacing hinges and latches every couple weeks on the Coleman

Sure

You think you'd get the same results testing in real life conditions?

yet another thread worrying about what other people do ....

Yeah I don't understand.

I mean i don't personally care to drop that much on a cooler but that being said I could really care less who does or who wants to out a sticker on their truck window.

Wtf is wrong with society. When did we turn to such shitty people that all we do is complain about shite that we don't like. I just don't get it.

Are you telling me that by heating up the Yeti it will somehow cool better? If the insulation is that much better it should have also worked better in a room temperature environment, no?

How?

Lets try the reverse of this. It's 30 degrees outside. I wear a jacket, you wear a long sleeve t-shirt. I will be warmer outside. When we walk inside, to say 72 degrees, I will still be warmer than you are in your t-shirt

insulation not having to do as much work. Insulation doesn't keep something cold, it keeps heat out. Insulation on a good cooler that is designed to keep heat out on extreme situations does just that. If the heat = 72 or 70 degrees instead of actual real world conditions of 90+, then it levels the playing field.

I don't think insulation starts working at a certain exterior temperature.

No, unless the materials involved have a drastic and sudden shift in their relative resistance to heat flows given a 20 degree higher temperature differential.

Protip: They don't.

I took this pic at the varsity in February. It was at a TX country music concert, and I know this dude has at least lurk here. There were also many plaid shirts and cowboy boots fresh off of the rack

Coleman better than Yeti at keeping ice

This was done in the sun... but hey, it could have been the Alaskan sun.

What if I have 6 of them?

My uncle gave me one for Christmas. He cut up my igloo with a chainsaw and put it inside the yeti before he gave it to me
