Honestly if your Grandpa didn't fight in WW2 you didn't really get the Grandpa experience. Things were much better when everyone's Grandpa fought in WW2. If we still had our WW2 Grandpas all this bullshite wouldn't be happening.

Boomers didn't do that, liberals of all ages did that, progressively over time, including some republicans. That's not a generational flaw. Unless you think somehow someway that the American people actually run the US government.

Politicians, including Trump, scream bloody murder when people talk about cutting Social Security. Why? Because the Boomers are stacked.

You seem to be thinking within a snapshot of time. What did the previous generation think when threatened with losing their social security, and the generation before that? What will millennials think when they are older and have paid into a system their whole lives and politicians start talking about cutting their benefits? This isn't a generational thing. People don't like it when they are promised something by the government, who takes money from them with the promise of paying them back later, then says sorry, we fricked up, we don't have your money anymore. That's not selfishness.

I'm genx btw, but I don't get the boomer hate. I get the boomer jokes about computers and them being old in general, just garden variety humor, but this weird hate for that generation at large has always confused me, and nobody has ever once been able to articulate it to my satisfaction.
