I’d rather be homeless hanging with crackheads than living with them.

This country is so fricking comfortable, safe, and privileged, we actually care about stupid shite like pronouns.

Struggle and poverty haven't existed in this country in over 50 years. If not longer.

I guess the silver lining to this shite show is that this is about to come to an end. Just wait for harvest. That’s when the real fun begins. I hope you’re prepared.

We’re starting to hire “gen z” in various roles and they are smart and hardworking kids. Most don’t care one way or the other about pronouns and such.

Social media (such as here) is triggered often, and finds articles with sensationalized pictures, to have something to be angry about and stereotype because that’s human nature. It feeds the online media and social media beast, clicks and revenue etc.

Grunge was the thing in the 90s. I knew a fair number of dropout, non-ambitious, non-showering, parent-mooching 20 somethings.

Most of them have jobs, houses, kids now.

TejasHorn was referring to the Grunge Gen Xers.

Genx had far different values and ethics.

The advantage for zoomers now is anyone who wants a good job should be able to find a good job fairly easily. Their workforce participation rates will be very low.

In all seriousness my plan to innovate my way out of expensive rental housing is to buy shipping containers and build a house out of 4 or 5 of them on our land. You can make a really awesome looking home out of them

Solid plan. My BIL made a nice camp in west Tx with them.
