Just fly this one. Most are ignorant to it as it hasn't been hyped as a hate symbol by the racebaiters and media.
Ban the American flag since it represents the systematic killing of an entire race and then forcing the remainder onto reservations against their will.
Take Washington and Jefferson of currency, they both owned slaves.
Over reactionary stupid people are stupid.

Aside from Mississippi, can you give some examples of states that flew the confederate battle flag as we know it before the civil rights movement? I'm genuinely interested.

If you're interested, look it up. I'm sure you can find something about the battle flag flying above local government buildings prior to 1960.
Once again, your assertion that the flag is only used to display racism is ignorant. The use of the flag as a part of modern state flags and use by the military well after the CRM prove it.

I don't need to provide anything. Anyone with any understanding of history knows the Southern states flew the battle flag well before the Civil rights movement ever started.
You tried to claim it only became popular during the movement, which is just plain wrong. Prior to the movement it was used as a symbol against an oppressive federal government.

Here's an example. This was Georgia's state flag was some variation of this flag from it's inception until 1956.
In 1954 the SCOTUS decides in Brown v. Board of Education that segregation is unconstitutional.
In 1955 the Feds say that public busses and trains should be desegregated.
In 1956 a defiant Georgia makes this their new state flag:
