I make my own from scratch. About 10 cents a jug.

Same here, I want that recipe.
Buy can of Gatorade powder
Put appropriate amounts of powder and water in jug. Stir.

No, we don't want the sugar hence his own Zero recipe.

My problem is that there’s always a trade off.. to compensate for “zero sugar”, Gatorade Zero adds even more of the ingredients i try to avoid, specifically the acesulfame and sucralose.. while sugar definitely isn’t great for you, i prefer actual sugar to those chemical ingredients I mentioned .. yes regular Gatorade includes some artificial sweetener as well, but gets most of it’s sweetness from sugar.. again, not telling YOU what to drink, just my preference .. at least neither formula contains aspartame (which is in Diet Coke, Equal etc) which IMO is literally the next nicotine and should come with a warning label .

Does anybody remember the old school Gatorade that came in the 1 Liter glass jars? That tasted completely different and it actually worked as it's intended purpose. Then they changed the formula and signed Michael Jordan and other athletes to launch a massive ad campaign (probably around the same time as New Coke) but it was still a decent product - probably a combination of the original and what we have today. But now it's just syrup flavored water. I feel worse after drinking it.

LMNT is very good as well. I've tried both and prefer LMNT.

BodyArmour Lyte is the top tier sports drink now. Can't believe y'all haven't tried it
Is that made with coconut water? Deal breaker for me

Thank you. I’ve seen it but haven’t tried it. I went cheap last week and bought some mix off of Amazon that was 1/2 the price of ReLyte to try, but ended up having to dump a bunch of salt and stevia in it to make it palatable.

What's your recipe sir?
Oh heck, it's easy.
You can use citric acid and fruit fresh from the canning section of your neighborhood store. I buy both by the 5lb bags off of amazon.
Then you get your jug, add citric acid and fruit fresh to taste for tartness, add stevia for sweetness if you don't want the sugar.
Add a little pink Himalayan salt, throw in some potassium, magnesium, calcium and zinc tablets and let them dissolve.
A little squirt of Mio (or the equat substitute) for color. You may also use a packet of the crystal light knockoff for special flavoring.
Voila.
Works like a charm and is 20x cheaper. Just save your empty gatorade 1L bottles and keep refilling and concocting refills as you go. I usually do five at a time for assembly line efficiency purposes.

Just took a pic of your post. Really appreciate this and thanks for taking the time because I know you had some trial and error over the years perfecting it!
