But it's not Brandon's fault! He only axed a pipeline and banned drilling permits! Muh president has no effect on gas prices!

Except this is a direct influence on their war on energy. Its is absolutely tied directly to him.

Last year at this time camping with my kids at Indian creek, gas was 1.69 a gallon for regular unleaded.

This is 100% on Bidens feet. Not everything can be blamed on administrations in power due to their predecessors, but not in this case.

there's a lot of times where this is 100% correct. We had a great stock market under Trump and Biden, but they're vastly different presidents when it comes to the financial industry.

...but Biden's actions in January of basically killing future gas influx with stopping pipelines and denying further leases and fracking caused futures to sky rocket because the future supply, by default, will be limited. that's pretty irrefutable. in this situation, he can kinda be blamed directly.

never said they were equal. just calling you out for not understanding that you aren’t avoiding energy inflation even in your EV and just how stupid your statement is.

It really sucks. I was filling up my tank for about $40 a year ago, now it's $60+.
I've resorted to putting regular and plus instead of just premium (it's a lease so idgaf)

There you go assuming things again. The thread is about Gas prices going up if I recall correctly. Maybe you don't actually understand the relevance of my comment.

Lets say my car uses about 1000 kWh a month (actually less but to keep it simple for you), there was about a 12% cost increase for energy across La. Went from about $0.09/kWh to $.10/kwh. So my energy bill went up a WHOPPING $10/mo. Compare that to your jacked up 4X4 mall crawler's weekly gas bill going up 6%.

you put a lot of effort into that post for little effect. you’re still missing my point, you aren’t immune. period. thus, your original post is stupid. thanks for playing joshua.

Well, shutting down the keystone pipeline has proven to be a fantastic decision by Brandon. Totally doesn’t deserve any ounce of criticism…
