Laffy DA’s office is a viper pit of corruption
What office in any small town isn't a viper pit of corruption? We usually see corruption at the Federal level, but it's way worse on a state/local level. Families have owned counties/parishes for generations.

What is the $$ for a federal trial?
With the attorneys he hired, 100k minimum I'd imagine.

Ole Scaredy Cat Clemons has to be getting some coin to get most of his clients convicted.
Why the shade? Todd Clemons is one of the best criminal defense attorneys in this region.
Todd Clemons got a guy off a murder charge after he literally walked into Sunday service and shot the pastor with a shotgun while the pastor was giving his sermon.

quote:I knew Gary Haynes. Very friendly guy. However Guidry agreed to up to 5 and 10 years, Prejean and Franques each agreed to up to 5 years and they were cooperating witnesses who basically said Gary was the ringleader. I would assume that since he didn’t take a please and was named as the ringleader Gary will prob get a lot more time than the others. Now it’s on to Jack Mountoucet’s trial next year.
I hope that they don’t throw the book at him in sentencing.

He’s a bitch for saying the confederate statue at the courthouse scared him and needed to come down.
Fuk that pussy.
Jack has his guys working on a plea agreement this weekend, bet the house on that. He ain’t getting out of this shite storm after all of his co conspirators have gone down or plead out.

He was bookended by two federal investigations that found corruption coming from the DA’s office so maybe there’s a middle ground somewhere?

Guess you didn’t contribute to his re-election campaign

AMEICAN GREED - the story of Leonard Franques.
Dude owned a bunch of Pizza Huts and Mr. Gatti's in SW LA - Worth millions. And wanted more pocket change money from an illegal bribery connection with the local DA's office ... . What a moron

I think it was a Wednesday night service and the pastor was “ministering” to the guys wife and others in the church.
Pretty sure it was recorded for old tyme sake.

Keith Stutes was as clean as a whistle and an excellent felony prosecutor.
