Garth will probably make his Louisiana Stadium stop the Superdome for Bayou Country Superfest.

Two night event

Night one George Strait (again)

Night two Garth Brooks

I’d have to get a hotel room

His big thing is affordable concerts.

a lot of people don't realize this about him and his shows. the last tour he did every ticket was a flat $75. first come first serve. artist of his caliber these days are getting like $200-300 for tickets in the lower bowl of an arena, and at least another $100+ for upper level.

Brooks last tour did $364 million in revenue off of 390 shows. that's a little over 900k per show. imagine how much more he could have made if he wanted to? because people would still pay it. that says a lot about the man. it's about making money, but it's not ALL about making money to him.

His concert was the first ever concert I had been to when he played LSU's Assembly Center. Was. 3 hour show and was freaking awesome. Now since my wife passed last year I ball like crazy when he sings The Dance. Miss ya Lisa more and more everyday.

It wasn’t his entire show. It was a 2 hour special with commercials. I saw 4 shows on his last tour and all of them were easily 2.5 hours long.

Man you just made me tear up. The first time he played at the Assembly Center was my wife and I’s first concert together. Probably the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. Real sorry to hear about your wife. What a great memory to have with her.

Pretty awesome. Small venue and was close to the stage. It was me and 3 of my friends, got to hang out with him and his band afterwards.

I want to apologize because I was the accidental downvote. That was a sweet post. The Dance is a classic.
