$60 - somewhere around 60 pounds of Legos (already sold for $120, sold it before I was out of the neighborhood)

Thats a steal. The going rate is $8-10/per pound.

In one lot. I just looked them up. These are not high dollar ones. If I get $40-$50 for them, I’ll be happy. I was hoping the Millers Falls was going to be the high dollar one.
I over paid for them.

Not that high, it’s about $4-$5 a lb (before shipping).
My last bulk buy of Legos, I bought about 25 lbs. 5 lbs of Legos fit perfectly in a USPS medium flat rate box. It took me 6 months to sell them at around $22 a box plus $15 for postage.
If you count shipping, they sell for around $7-$8 a pound.

Is there a Lego shortage? What’s the deal with them being so desirable?

The fact that AT has only a couple of customers from here speaks to the reach of eBay and other national online outlets. He posts here frequently, and we get a kick out of reading about his trades, but we buy next to nothing.

Meanwhile, some bastard in Peoria is desperate for a “vintage” sock that we don’t give two shits about and pays $48 to have it shipped.
