Is that metal or plaster?
Plaster, terra cotta almost.
It’s dated 1944 Florence. I’m wondering if that’s a person or Italy. It’s from a post card from 1942. There’s a couple of those on eBay.

Do you happen to know if there is a medal for someone who died while training to deploy in Spanish American War? I’ve got a relative who was training while in service in Florida and is buried there during SA War.

Those cook books are fairly common. You can probably find one one eBay or Amazon.
Edit***
Yes, there are several on eBay $20-$40 each

I'm sure I've told you before but I used to pay my rent and part of my living expenses in college selling garage/estate sale finds on Ebay. Made a consistent $600 to $1500/month selling old jewelry, collectibles, toys, clothes, and retro video games.

Working out of town and not spending much time on the webs... and last night I did some drankin'. I couldn't operate a keyboard if I tried.

Any idea how to apply for that for a great, great grandparent?
Posted on 5/3/21 at 8:14 pm to zippyputt
I would maybe check through the American Legion Hall

Do you have any documentation on them? A muster order, something to that effect? It would not be hard if you do.

I finally got around to listing these two signed books. I paid $3 for the Bush, $2 for the Nixon.
It lasted less than 5 minutes on eBay.
I put them both in one auction, sold for $120

Not a garage sale, but I finally got my hands on a working Final Fantasy (NES) cartridge in good condition and I couldn't be happier. I also saw a number of retro games I own going for good money. I need to make sure I actually put them in storage properly.
