You seem like the kind of guy around the office that always points out problems and not solutions.
Eh, only black community leaders are really allowed to address this topic and not be lambasted for what they say.
White people and police don't really get to opine or act without being labeled as racists who want to kill black people and enslave them again.

Or just keep posting in a thread on TD that points out a problem
I choose this option.

Show up to council meetings and bring this up.
And get told "frick you, why boy" on the way out?

All typical excuses. If someone sat on the outside a problem you were having at work doing nothing but bitching what would your reaction be?
Step up or shut up.

I assume you're just being argumentative for the sake of it at this point.

Its taken 87 murders and 14 months later and THIS is the community leaders response? A couple of people praying on the steps of city hall?
Like I said, literally the least effort they could put forth.
They say the journey of 1000 miles beings with a single step. This is akin to thinking about putting shoes on.

I see you found a clip of me at my moonlighting gig.

I'm fine with people voicing their opinions or doing their civic duty and there being a reasonable amount of bitching. It's to be expected.
Calling out entire city leadership, for everything they do, from the comfort of their couch is being part of a problem and not solution.

Unfortunately, the current political/racial climate has reduced people to such things. You know as well as I do that white, non prominent SJW, people who attempt to address this in a public manner will be absolutely ostracized and labeled as something hateful. It's essentially a fruitless venture that has no real benefit or efficacy. Problems such as poverty, education, and crime in minority communities can only be addressed by those within said communities in our modern society.

That's alot of car decals being made.

I don't believe that. I do believe that an avenue has to be taken that "panders" to that audience. It isn't a sprint to fix the problems, it is a ultra-marathon.
What works in an upper middle class white community won't work in a lower class black community.

Do I need to show you the multiple emails and phone calls that weren't returned by Mayor-elect Broome's office offering my assistance during the transition.
Or the multiple emails to then Councilwoman Marcelle, and now Representative Marcelle offering my assistance or asking questions about community-related items in our district?
