RIP anyone that needs to drive I-14N to Sterling City

Turning that into a divided highway would be a great start for a bit of safety.

That I-18 concept between Dallas-NO looks sweet. I'll allow it.

I notice that the Louisiana map doesn't include the mythical I-69 connection around Shreveport into Texas. Have we all just accepted that it will never happen, even in fantasy land?

I think the nerd who made that map just forgot about it. Because I-69 in Louisiana is on the Arkansas and Texas map.. and with how much work Texas has put in to building I-69 Louisiana will eventually be forced to work on it when Texas puts I-69 stubs right on the Louisiana border years and years from now.

And BR still doesn’t have a loop?

And Lafayette does and Lake Charles gets a second one!

Someone sat around in 1897 with a fountain pen and a map and did the same thing laying out future railways.

No loop around BR? The 12 extension from Eunice goes to Airline instead of Livingston (or all the way to 55)?

14 through CenLa is a great idea but 12/10 still pretty much needs its own mirror interstate to at least Pensacola due to the almost constantly dense traffic (in both directions) along most of that route.

The i69 portion through La is probably the most likely of anything to get done (including finishing the few miles of i49 through Shreveport.

I14 would be interesting, and greatly needed, but it would ruin CenLa's charm.

In reality, if all of these were to be built I feel like there would never be a single car on any state highways.

I-14 is supposed to hook up with I-20 near my hometown in Georgia. As a few have already said, that should be cool.............100 years from now

Future reversible HoV lanes on 400 and the Perimeter.

This will make my game day Fridays a lot less time-comsuming when I have a game up on the Northside

The infrastructure will be there once they do that and build a twin span on LA 1 to Fourchon years and years and years from now. Then they would just have to remove at grade crossings.

Did you ever notice on the New Leeville bridge how the lanes don’t seem to match the decking of the bridge on the north side of the bridge.

The original design of the bridge had interstate grade on ramps, but when the first round of bids came in too high, DOTD took out the ramps on the approach, but not the main span of the bridge.

I am interested in how the interchange or intersection with 3235 will go. Crews are already doing the ground clearing and levee work. There is also construction on a new bridge in Galliano to access the airport.

Finishing the interstate from fort smith to Louisiana is going to be a hell of a job.
