He was better than the alternative, but none of what has been happening is a surprise to me.

But Sen. Alan Seabaugh, R-Shreveport, who lost funding for four projects, more than any other legislator, took a shot at Landry.

“As long as the governor is going on turkey hunts and traveling to LSU baseball games on billboard lawyers’ private planes, the people of Louisiana will continue to pay outrageous insurance premiums while the governor continues to bully legislators and attack the Insurance Commissioner,” Seabaugh said in a statement

Anyone who hangs out with and is friends with Shane Guidry has to be an obnoxious self centered prick. So yes, Landry is more than likely a pos as well.

Is it typical for LA governors to have an interstate green sign announcing their hometown?

Landry put up a sign celebrating that his wife is from Iberia parish.

Blindly following party ties in elections is how we got Landry in the first place.

Wrong, JBE is how we got Landry. Honor code “2 weeks to slow the spread” dipshit is what gave us La dry. There really wasn’t any other choice. Vote for another Democrat who will decide what businesses get to stay open and which close or vote for someone who won’t do that.

Landry ain’t great, but he’s better than JBE. The media just didn’t run pieces on JBE the way the advocate and the other left wing news organizations are going after Landry.

Hey guys we can't have publicly accessible parks and recreation until every other aspect of government is perfect.

You wanted to keep out the Democrats at all costs. You have a Republican controlled Legislature and a Republican governor who got out his kneepads to kiss Trump's ring. Looks like you will now have to blame Republicans.

It wasnt D vs R. The Democrats didnt seriously contest the race. A Republican was going to win and there were any number of Republicans running who were better qualified. Louisiana voters deliberately picked the worst alternative.

All the signs were there. I didn’t like Honor Chode but this clown is no better.

No. He’s much better than Bel Gump. But he’s still real bad, powermongering idiotic POS.

Shane Guidry may be rich but he is one of the biggest assholes you will ever meet. A self absorbed obnoxious prick and Landry slobs his knob any chance he gets. Landry is compromised bc of this frick. Tells you all you need to know about Landry. frick him.

It’s called the line item veto, genius, and it’s been used by EVERY Louisiana governor since forever. Nothing new to see here. It’s one of the instruments of power the governor has at his disposal.

This is big boy politics. If you have a thin skin, you’re in the wrong game. The real world isn’t a civics book. And he’ll be re- elected easily.

I’ll never vote for Landry again, he’s been a total disappointment. I think he is just really stupid and has little man syndrome, which is a terrible combination for anyone, especially someone in public office.

We tried telling y’all there there were actual conservative options to vote for

This is a lie

There were multiple better conservatives running who would have beaten the democrat

I don’t recall it being used against members of the governor’s own party
