quote:

Jeff Franklin is out as showrunner of Netflix’s “Fuller House” and Warner Bros. TV has declined to renew its overall deal with the TV veteran.

Franklin has been accused of being verbally abusive to staffers and making inappropriate statements in the writers’ room, including making sexually charged comments about his personal relationships and sex life. Franklin has not been accused of directly sexually harassing or engaging in physical misconduct with any staffers.

quote:

According to a source, “Fuller House” staffers also complained about Franklin’s habit of bringing women he dated to the set and sometimes giving them bit parts in the series.

Seems like a stupid reason to fire someone, but what do I know?

Unless he was going all Harvey Weinstein on the staff I do not see an issue. If I recall Bob Saget was extremely vulgar on set.

He gave women he was dating bit parts on the show? The fricking horror!

Fire him for being a fricking lame-o who foisted Dave Coulier on us, not for him throwing his frickbuddies a bone by getting them a bit part.

I'm pretty sure the lyrics are "evening TV".

Eh... when I read this part

quote:

According to a source, “Fuller House” staffers also complained about Franklin’s habit of bringing women he dated to the set and sometimes giving them bit parts in the series.

and then go back to this one

I can see why they decided he probably wasn't worth the risk of having around.

Airing out what all you've done with actresses you are getting hired is a great way to frick your company over w/a massive sexual harassment lawsuit.

I doubt he was never warned about this behavior as well. He was probably told multiple times to cool it and wasn't able to do so. Baw should have learned to STFU about his sex conquests at work and left that kind of talk to locker room w/his buddies once off the clock.

I'm gonna blow your mind.

It's "evenin' tv" as in evening television.

They didn't fire him, they declined to renew his deal. I wouldn't be surprised if they were looking for a reason to part ways. Maybe he went and pissed off the wrong person, like Candace Cameron. He may have been the show runner, but she probably runs the show.

Candace doesn't seem like the type of person to be that petty. Especially growing up with Bob Saget's deranged sense of humor on set.

I always thought Franklin, Danny, Joey and Uncle Jesse were diddling those kids for years.

Need a ruling: how about complaining about lack of sex life in 2018?
