Live in southeast AL - stopped to get gas last night - was limited to $20 worth (per station policy I was told). Fools panic buying all they can around here.

Local, I guess. Plenty of gas everywhere I look, if you can afford it.

people are fricking morons - when your municipalities and the governor is coming out begging people to not overreact, it is a sad state of affairs.

And the media is actively encouraging overreaction.

In North AL earlier I was going to stop in at a Mapco for a drink. Lines at every pump with cars blocking the parking spots. A mile down the road, at one of the older, rougher stores, there were two cars at the pumps and the spots were all open. I turned in and was in and out in less than five minutes. Gas there was the same price as the Mapco.

the Raceway on 280 near Greystone was completely out of gas last night, and the Shell up the other side of Home Depot was as well - thankfully the new Mapco had some - would have been a real pisser if the wife had run out of gas going to work because nimrods overreact at stupid shite and create panic shortages

That BP next to the car wash also had some last night, or it looked like it did. There were people there getting gas.

Every gas station I passed this morning was out of gas except for that little station on Acton Rd by the Colonnade. There was a line to get in there.

I topped off my tank in Slidell this morning. No issues.
