Maybe I’m as dumb as I look, but why would someone want to intentionally do this....meaning the government? I don’t see what the win would be in intentionally stopping the flow of gas.

Have you not been paying attention to who is in charge of this country now? They absolutely despise the oil and gas industry and would do anything to make "Alternative fuel" a more viable solution TODAY!!!!

just ignore the overly emotional politards who need to blame literally anything bad on Democrats

if Democrats wanted to kill the O&G industry, there are far more efficient and meaningful ways to do that beside shutting down 1 pipeline temporarily

Stuff like that?

Yes.

Which are all far more effective than some conspiracy theory involving blaming the shut down of a pipeline on a hacker group.

Filled up this morning in suburban Birmingham and other than the price being up from last week, didn't notice anything abnormal. I'm sure the soccer moms will get on their Facebook groups today and freak out and run and top off their Yukons and Suburbans.

Stop paying attention to the news media and social media rumors. There is no shortage anywhere. There is over 1 billion gallons of gasoline in tank terminals along the route of the 3 pipelines (two are Colonial and one for Plantation) Any shortages are from panic buying

Florida gets its fuels by sea at Tampa and Port Everglades, but when it comes to oil and fuels, Floridians have an IQ below 80

Seems there are lots of reports of gas stations being completely out, so there are some shortages where people can actually fill up their cars.

But I agree with this. The 2 ladies in the office just ran out to fill up because they same something on Facebook about it.

One thing I’ve noticed is a big difference between Louisiana and Miss, alabama and Florida. Less of a line at the places I’ve seen in Louisiana. Alabama had by far the longest lines at the most places

Maybe so, I am not debating that. But if it isnt at the pumps my drivers need it to be at, I cant send them out on routes with no fuel to get.

And they are utilizing all of those, mostly using EO’s that don’t require any approval. And EPA has been weaponized to tighten the regulatory noose as well as step up enforcement. The refineries are being targeted through restrictions on the oil production side, and through using Environmental Justice to deny or delay needed permits.

Louisiana is almost entirely supplied by trucks off the terminal racks, mostly co-located or very close to refineries. Same to a large extent for the MS Gulf Coast. Once you get to Alabama and Florida, it’s all by pipeline and ship (Florida). Florida not allowing pipelines often bites them in the arse, but a week after their emergency they forget what caused it.
