Hot as satans balls in the summer. Cold as a witches tit in the winter. Wind 24/7. Tornadoes. Snow. Occasional flood. Occasional dust storm. No atmosphere/culture. I mean the people are good but at what cost?

I actually enjoy living here the weather is just arse, this is all.

The wind there doesn’t blow, it sucks.

That's two interesting back-to-back sentences.

Based on my research, much of Wyoming appears to be the same way. Still considering moving there, eventually.

You forgot hail storms. Near baseball size hail destroyed one of my Trans Ams.

Because there is only a few electric poles and wires from there to Canada and beyond to slow it down.

I actually enjoy living in KC but it has been hot as hell this year. Usually only have week or two of really hot weather, but when it is hotter here then back home in Texas that is crazy. And yes still not used to winter. But great place to raise a family.

A client moved his main manufacturing from his plant in Kansas to his plant in Mississippi after expanding Mississippi.

Sounds like Western Nebraska - over 100ºF in the summer and routinely below 0ºF in the winter for long stretches. Big wind, threats of tornadoes, small showers turn into severe storms quick, looooots of cattle hauling operations which leaves manure everywhere, etc. But I love it up there because of the remote landscape and how nice people are to each other. If I ever get healthy I have every intention of moving up there.

Isn’t western Nebraska where the sand crane migration happens? That would be pretty cool to witness
