I don't think you bothered to read it all. Some of these dogs had been trapped in kennels so long they were unable to walk.

Yes, plenty of pets died during the flood, no one should be punished for saving themselves over their pet.

In this case, I don't think that her treatment of them qualifies as brutal anyway.

They want her burned alive because she left them behind in a flood and may or may not have given them proper exercise prior to the flood.

My house flooded in this same "surprise" event. I got all my pets out. I have neighbors who were just as old or older who got their pets out. The guys running around rescuing stranded humans were also taking pets along with them. Well, I guess they rescued the pets whose owners bothered to worry about.

OK, I'll retract my suggested punishment. I hope that every night for the rest of her shitty life, when she tries to go to sleep, she pictures and hears the sounds of those dogs as they tried to stay above the flood waters.

WTF is wrong with you? She kept them in kennels where they couldn't even walk they were so gnarled up. She never gave them a chance and I get plenty of pets drowned unfortunately and of course people had to save themselves. People were forced to let their dogs go and fend for themselves where some swam and kept above water until rescued and that is how this should've gone moron. Those poor dogs never even had a chance because of abuse.

Should the lady die a long painful death? No, but she should definitely face some kind of cruelty penalty because that shite is not right.

She can go to hell.
