Well, the one we always hit was across the bridge in Destin....The Destination.

Oh, yeh, and the wayside park. Spent my share of nights in cars there. More nights than I remember.

Blue Horizon

What was the name of big bar right on the strip ?

Was the Hogs breath the little biker bar out back ?

Or was I the only one to stroll up in there.

I remember all they sold was Beer and Zig Zags

The Blue Horizon....... AKA: The Blue Zoo!

Literately across the street from Cash's, IIRC.

Sandman was the cheapest. I don't even think there was a phone or TV in the rooms.

We saw The Cold at Victor's (I think) in 1982 (I think). There was an old school Shakey's Pizza in FWB that we'd hit at least once per trip.

Another tradition was stopping in Mobile on the drive home and buying tons of fireworks that you couldn't get in LA.

I got thrown out of Cash's in 86 and met a drunk girl in the parking lot who was also thrown out before me. Picked up a bottle of vodka at the liquor store and we walked to the beach and went skinny dipping.
