Any of those places still around? We did Blue Horizon in 86. Others did the Carousel. Funneling contests and doing snorkels. Good times.

THE cheapest place was The Playground Motel, which was to the right next to the big bridge that crossed over to the beach. Another cheap place on the main drag was The Texas Sevens. The Blue Horizon had a bar, "The Little Bar." There was a liquor store called Carmichaels.

The Butt Hut. We obliterated that place.

PCB mid 80's, everybody on the beach/street had a little brown bottle of RUSH up to their nose.

We stayed at the Edgewater one year. It was across the street on the bay inlet... It was basically a cheap suit type motel.. Woke up one morning, we had 26 people passed out on the floor in the main area..

Anyone remember Cash's "Thank you Louisiana" sign on the way out on 98...?

We took my father's 1984 Lincoln Town Car to Ft. Walton on our senior year trip. Parked at Cash's one night, got hammered and walked back over to the Blue Horizon. Woke up the next morning, couldn't find the keys to the car. They were in the ignition with the doors locked and about 30 Cash's bumper stickers plastered all over the car.

The best times were the cheesy places in late 80's in Fort Walton. Can't beat it

Daddy's Money...

We usually hung out at Cash's but made our way to Night Town in Destin at times..

Then hit the Green Frog for the totally naked strippers... good times..

Back when I was playing drums with the Gutter Sharks.. we had a band trip to FW and we stayed at the Driftwood Motel.. 35 bucks a night.. Met a girl, at Cash's, from Tennessee on her hs senior trip... Hooked up with her, she wanted me to come see her at her home, was going to till I found out her dad was a higher up with the Tennessee state police...
