Was the carousel the dump towards the end of the strip that was painted pink?

Had a buddy who worked as a dive assistant off shore and he had a buddy who worked at Cash's across from the Blue Horizon. We went down there on a whim and had no room until the next day. So we partied all night and crashed on the beach in front of the bungalos (sp.) we had for the next two nights. Woke up on the beach with kids and such playing and frolocking around us. It was almost noon. I was laying on one side with just shorts on and had a sun burn on half my body. Looked like the the guy from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Good times. Remember the Hogs Breath and the huge bar across the bridge in Destin, had like two floors, with a rock band on one and a country band on the other.

Ramada Inn. Bar under the waterfall.

Can't remember if it was 83, or 84 but I do remember the lights went out and clothes came off.

Being more affluent than most of you, we typically stayed at The Best Western Aloha Village.

And I have slept on the bar in the Ramada/Regency bar too.

Invariably, someone would take the hotel room door of the hinges the first night to use a surfboard.

At the Ramada in 82-ish, a cop was about to ring-up a podnah of mine for being stupid. (Throwing the porch furniture off the porch, as I recall) I walked up on the situation from the other direction in the hallway, my podnah bolted and the cop drew his nightstick. I "accidentally" leaned into the cop just as he was throwing it and the nightstick hit a nearby doorframe and ricocheted back and got the cop across the ankle. I said "Excuse me" and excused myself.

Statute of limitations on this anyone?

We met some Auburn sorostitutes later that night at the Holiday Inn and stayed in them for the night. Mmmmmmm.....

When you type "podnah", do you think to yourself, "Damn I feel cool typing this. I wonder if everyone else thinks I'm cool?"

If not, what would cause a 50+ y/o man to type that?

An Arkansas fan in Korea. Or anyplace on the globe for that matter. You epitomize cool. We are all only witnesses. Podnah.
